Welcome to 50 States Before College! We’re a young family on a mission to check out the wonders of the United States before our oldest leaves home in about 10 years.
Here, we share our travel journey through honest blog posts, detailed itineraries, and practical tips and tricks that make family travel easier (and way more fun!).
Our goal is to build community and inspire fellow family travelers like you, showing that adventure is attainable for everyone (even if it’s close to home).

We believe that each state has amazing things to explore and that the best way to visit is to immerse ourselves in local culture through food, activities and human connection.

We love everything about travel, from the researching and planning all the way through taking the trip and documenting memories. But we realize others might not love all those elements, or simply might not have time for them!
